Social Impact of the Web? Surely the answer is YES (even if the question is open) and people have to be a bit more specific or they will just wibble about blogs and talk at cross purposes.

It's also interesting that a lot of people are suddenly switching on to the complexity thing. I'm starting to see it mentioned a lot. And in complex systems diversity creates more stability and robustness.


Given Matthew Taylor's current orientation at the RSA, I hope he picks up this thinking. A pity about the process, since they have the (open) space to have been more imaginative given the subject matter, the composition of the panel and the parochialness (?) of the focus.
